Présentation (en anglais seulement)
Join us for two workshops with Elizabeth Dubois, Michael Geist, and Vinita Srivastava on how to use podcasts for knowledge mobilization, including how to understand analytics and how to increase accessibility.
Workshop 1: Podcast Analytics (March 20)
This online workshop will cover basic podcast analytics, including which metrics are most important to track and why, as well as how to access this data and interpret it. Guests Elizabeth Dubois, Michael Geist, and Vinita Srivastava will discuss their own experiences with analytics from their podcasts. A resource handout will be provided to all participants for their future reference.
Workshop 2: Introduction to Podcast Accessibility (March 27)
This workshop will introduce podcast accessibility by showing you how to make your content as user-friendly as possible for individuals with varying physical and psychological needs. Accessibility throughout the whole podcast production cycle will be covered, with a focus on how to use publication tools like transcripts, translations, annotations, and websites. Resource handouts will be provided.
Participants who have specific questions are welcome, but not required, to submit these in advance by emailing email@example.com
These workshops are made possible by The Office of the Vice-President Research and Innovation (OVPRI) Knowledge Mobilization Grants, through a SSHRC Exchange Grant.
